It was then that Ganryu noticed that Heihachi Mishima was once again holding The King of Iron Fist Tournament. However, despite being one of the only sumo personalities online, he had trouble getting enough viewers to monetize his fledging efforts. After racking his brain to come up with a way to raise the money, he decided to become an online video personality much like Julia herself. Unable to cancel his contribution, Ganryu and his restaurant were suddenly faced with a crisis. Although, in his exuberance, he accidentally donated all of his restaurant's earnings to her cause. Determined to help his beloved Julia, Ganryu quickly moved to support her campaign. Julia Chang had started a crowdfunding campaign for her reforestation program and was seeking supporters. As a result, Chanko Paradise's popularity soared, and Ganryu found himself busy tending to his newfound success. In an effort to gather some much-needed publicity for his restaurant "Chanko Paradise," Ganryu entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. Really fun character with a 13 frame high normal hit launcher, a lot of low pokes, and a very strong throw game. Leroy is so far really fun to play and is really strong. Thanks to the frame data, I found out I was getting away with so much shit I had no right to get away with. The character in blue is at an advantage, and the one in red is at a disadvantage. Simplified view just shows you when you're either at an advantage or disadvantage.

It gives you details about start-up frames, frame advantage, the characters' status (standing, grounded, crouching), and your distance from your opponent in meters. There are two displays, detailed and simplified. It made me realize that I was getting away with things I really shouldn't be.
#Tekken 7 fahkumram free
The frame data, while some argue should be free (and TBH, it really should be), is actually really helpful. The new customization items are pretty neat. You gotta go all-in with the season pass 3. I guess that means Ganryu, Leroy Smith, and Fahkumram are not going to be purchasable separately. It's important to note that according to their press release, there will be no stand-alone sales or distribution at a later date. There are two more items that are still to come - Fahkumram and the new stage set in Thailand with a floor and a balcony break. Along with a few balance tweaks and fixes, the unlocked parts of the season pass included Ganryu, Leroy Smith, Punishment Training, Frame Data, Character and Player Customization Sets.

#Tekken 7 fahkumram update
Ganryu’s coming first, with a Fram Data Display update also coming before Fahkumram releases.

“Introducing Muay Thai champion Fahkumram - he's ready to enter the ring to fight for his family's freedom!”īoth characters will arrive as part of Season Pass 3 between Winter 2019 and Spring 2020. Here’s the official blurb from the intro video in which he’s dramatically airdropped into battle: His imposing design is certainly reminiscent of Street Fighter’s knee-loving eyepatch man Sagat, albeit with many, many more tattoos and some glowing veins. “A new contender is set to enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament! Prepare to wrestle your opponents with Ganryu!”įahkamrum is a Muay Thai champion who stans head an shoulders over the majority of Tekken 7’s cast at 7’ 5”. Grapplers, eh? Here’s the brief description from his comedic intro video: Much to many Tekken players’ despair, he’s a grappler character who wants to get up close and personal as he wrestles foes around the arena, all while talking a lot. Ganryu is a large-bodied man who appears to be a Kabuki actor.
